It tasted watered down even when the instructions were followed it was easy to make. I always do a half water half milk mixture but that didn't matter much with this. I think I would reach for another product just based on price.

I used water in the hot cocoa and I think it may have contributed to how absolutely strong and bitter the chocolate flavor was. It was like it needed more sugar but I can't really pinpoint why. I think the chocolate flavor was on point, it didn't taste artificial, but I think it was just too strong for my liking. The bitter flavor was similar to coffee and I definitely don't want my hot chocolate to taste like coffee. Overall I couldn't even finish it because of how bitter it was. I think there's more than likely a combination of milk chocolate and dark chocolate in it and the dark chocolate is contributing to the bitterness.
