Ghost Controls TDS2XP Heavy-Duty Solar Dual Automatic Gate Opener Kit for Swing Gates Up to 20 Feet

After a year of getting in and out of the car every time we needed to go out, we decided to install the solar powered Ghost control Heavy Duty unit for our duel gates. It was very easy to install and ended our constant battle of keeping the gates open long enough to get in or out during windy conditions. The Ghost units work exactly as advertised and have made our travels much easier.

Wow. What an amazing piece of equipment to purchase. This thing is so easy to set up and do flawless in it's design. Takes a few minutes to figure out exact placement. From the time I opened the box until the time I closed the gate for the first time with the remote took about 2.5 to 3 hours. Would definitely recommend. We didn't get the multi connect to comment to our Internet but definitely will in the future just to be able to open it when we are away.

The required battery is not included in the initial shipment or even mentioned as being required in the promotional. Nor is there any mention that push to open brackets are needed for gates that swing outward. For these items not to be included or even mentioned in your promotional is the reason for my rating. These missing items makes this product too expensive, in my opinion.

Make sure to measure and ask how long the wiring is to bury to control box. Mine was 6 feet too short and the only option is to re buy product to get a longer whip because splicing in more wire is not recommended. Also be prepared to adjust gate opener limits every three days. Based on all the reviews of this product I thought I was getting the golden egg of gate openers and this is not that. I should have bought the tractor supply opener for half the price and not be disappointed because it junk.

Placed order for the Ghost Dual swing gate opener and received a Ghost single gate opener. Everything was correct in the order along with the verbiage (illustration) of said items. Walmart had me drive the package back to their store and drop it off. Then wait for a refund then reorder the item again. No guarantee that it'll be correct the second time. They said they couldn't send me the correct order that I had to jump thru the hoops again.
