Ghost control makes the absolute best gate opener that we have ever encountered. This is our second one, and I won't hesitate to get a third and fourth as needed. This gate control is easy to install, super user friendly instructions, so easy to operate, and I absolutely love the new gate connect phone app. Highly recommend this amazing gate. I have two with solar panels that work amazing.

The installation videos were exceptionally helpful. It took me and a buddy about 2 ½ hours, but a great deal of that time was spent getting the post plumb.

They are very easy to install. Setting up the gate was a lot easier than I expected. I read the instructions on how to program the remotes only. You can look at the kit and figure it out to include attaching the wires.

So i ordered the ghost kit as a bundle woth two key pads mounting brackets and the battery box with two batterys and a extra key fob. I did pay 25 more for everything to be preprogramed . Do not do that as my system was not however its very simple to do so save your 25 dollars. I also ordered a prohect box to hide the extra wiring not needed as my system was mounted close to the gate made the set up look very nice and clean .The gate work very well, and the remotes have a long range to open amd close the gate . I setup my gate to auto close in 15 seconds. I also used a flag mount for my solar panel so i could turn to any angle for the sun .

Recommend for an affordable do it yourself gate opener!!!!

I'd give more as it's great sometimes. My problem is apparently if you have powerlines close by, it will interfere with remotes and keypads....at least that is what a rep told me. I literally have to touch the remote to the arm itself or the electronics box. Had to put the hard wire button on it because occasionally it will not let me in with remotes

Overall I like it. Just slow and the clicker has a short range. I also have yet to get the wireless vehicle sensor to work

My wife LOVES this gate opener. She gets to call me EVERY morning, literally every morning and tell me she can't get out because the gate is stuck or not working. It's nice we get to chat in person every morning now with our hectic lives. She also loves that I have to adjust, reinstall and reset the gate EVERY single day instead of being in the house annoying her while she is knitting or watching her programs on TV. She also loves to hear the new 6, 8 and even sometimes 10 and 12 letter words that she hears coming from across the pasture at the gate to the house while she is relaxing on the deck drinking ice tea and reading a book. Truth be told we had high expectations for this opener, as I did massive amounts of research and watched almost every YouTube out there on them - boy did I get hoodwinked. Before you ask...yes, my posts are plumb, my gate is 14' farm tube, and I followed all the instructions to the letter, all to no avail. Literally every day I have to reset the fully retracted arm because it "forgets" where it is. The ZombieLock interferes with setting the closed position via jogging and setting. The additional waterproof remote was DOA and needed programmed even though I paid for programming. The solar panel system is great as we didn't need to run power all the way out there (.95 miles away from house) HOWEVER, the included cable from the solar panel is small ringed connector - and JUST ONE, even though the recommendation is for 2 - 12V - 7A batteries or a marine grade battery which wont accommodate the small ring connectors so you must buy Ghost Controls battery box and batteries to get the dual whip cable necessary to have two batteries. All in all, BUYER BEWARE, make sure you have the time DAILY to reset, reinstall, reboot and adjust your gate before buying. Oh and it is a simple pet peeve, why would you have everything 1/2 inch sockets, except for the solar panel, its different.

I thought it came with an app to operate gate only to see in small print not included. Bad business should at least provide two remotes one is not acceptable. That is why I give it 2 stars very disappointing. You really need to send me one more remote this is stupid .
