Ghostbusters 2 4K UHD Blu-ray
Been years since I've seen this movie and having just bought and watched The first Ghostbusters in 4K I figured good price on number 2 and was pleasantly surprised with the 4k restoration of the first one I'll give %232 a shot and was very impressed with clarity and sound of this 4k version. To all Ghostbusters fans who are looking for an upgrade or first time viewers I would definitely recommend this purchase.

Ghostbusters II is a worthy sequel.
I'm a big fan of the Ghostbusters franchise, ever since I saw the first one on VHS shortly after it was released in 1985. Ghostbusters II upgraded the scope of the series with new tools (slime throwers, the gigameter), new allies (Lewis and Janine), and new enemies (Vigo and Janosz). The slime throwers were a great addition, and the upgrade in sound, special effects, and new music didn't hurt either. The music fit with the times while at the same time being true to the original. There are several funny lines and scenes in the movie, and it balances humor with scary bits fairly well. I especially liked the Statue of Liberty scene and Howard Huntsberry's "Higher and Higher." All that being said, the movie is a more toned down version of the original. Primarily because they wanted to sell merchandise, specifically toys. The animated series (The Real Ghostbusters) was doing well, and they wanted children to be more involved. On one hand, I can understand toning down the language, smoking, and such, but it seemed to me that they were overcompensating. I felt like it lost some of the original appeal. Overall it was a fantastic movie, and I highly recommend it.
