let me start out by saying, the person that said these are ugly, lied. they are adorable. yes they are in a white goo, but we did not have a problem not making a mess. we opened ours at the table and had ample napkins to wipe our hands. they are worth it if your kid has an obsession with the staypuft character. he loved them so much we plan on ordering more until we have them all.
These are such cute lil' guys. Love their cuteness. Don't like the sticky gunk they came in or the after smell, but once they were out of that and the protective bags, aired out the containers and have added potpourri to the closed containers will keep the rose potpourri in for about a month. But they're fun little toys - too small for littler children, but great for 5 and up or as collector's items.
Love this little figure! Ghostbusters fan since I was a kid. Picked this up just because it was Ghostbusters. I hate touching slime myself so I let my daughter open it and I cleaned off the wrapper the figure was in. This little dude makes me happy and looks like me when I have chocolate! Can't wait to see which one I get next. Let the kids do the dirty work
This is FREAKIN AWESOME ! I was a kid that NEVER got to play with goo, slime, etc. so now that I'm an adult I'm having a blast from the past. It not only filled the goo void but it's Ghostbusters! Listen, if your an adult and know that goo/slime is messy, you accept any and all risks that come with staining/destroying any object. It's why my parents played with the item/got info from other parents BEFORE handing it to me as a kid. Don't disrespect the goop, don't disrespect the franchise, and do your research :)
super cute but super tiny
After reading several reviews I was prepared for the "marshmallow " slime to be a total nightmare. Maybe this mental preparation helped (or maybe I am just used to messes at this point) but overall it wasn't as bad as I had feared. After a couple minutes of stringy goopy mess and a quick hand wash, my 5 year old was all set to enjoy his figure. Don't get me wrong, as the texture of the "slime" is definitely unpleasant. I just didn't find it to detract from the fun of the product as much as some previous reviewers.
these are super super cute something like youd get out of a 50 cent machine but the white gooey fake marshmallow stuff stinks its a MEGA pain to get off anything and takes forever getting your prize out. it smells like window caulk. and if you order online prepare to get dupes if your trying to collect all 6. TIP: let them freeze for 1 hour prior to opening and the goo is easier to get off.
The figures are cute but do not give this to kids. I thought the “compound” was just slime. It's some unholy concoction of glue and grease. Whoever thought it was a good idea to make this goop and sell it should be fired. If you want the figures, pull them out (luckily they're inside a bag), and toss the rest before is permeates your world.
I was thinking it was a compressed foam marshmallow man. Instead is an incredibly tiny plastic figure that is buried in a terrible white glue. I wouldn't have minded so much if it was closer to slime, but it was so difficult to wash off
This will stain your clothing and your furniture. Also, the figures, buried inside some sort of "white slime" that isn't the fun/kid friendly kind, are ugly. They are supposed to be the cute marshmallows on the shelves that Paul Rudd is interacting with, but NO! Whoever did the faces, they look disturbing... and not the happy halloween kind, just weird. Someone guessed what they would look like? They guessed wrong. AVOID, it says on the container it WILL stain your fabrics. The goo is, well, somewhere between runny eggs and sticky melted candy. You've been warned... lol.
