I bought this over the bed table because I needed a place to write and color and not just in bed but anywhere I decided to sit. I use it in bed, at my couch, when sitting on my ottoman and I love it. It glides up and down smoothly and it's sturdy. My kids have also used it for homework. Keep in mind that it will only work on the right side of a bed but that wasn't an issue for me as I use the right side. This was a fraction of the cost of others I found. Money well spent.

so I returned a previously bought bed side desk. cuz this one was better. it has a long side that tilts perfect for laptops and then a little side table that stays flat for whatever. I'd get this again, and you should get it once if your in the market. my only complaint is to make the base like 5 inches smaller so you can use it in a chair recliner or bed but otherwise loving it! Not a bot.

I’m very happy with this purchase. The desk is sturdy and easy to move around. It’s nice not to be sitting all day anymore. I’m even able to put it over my treadmill and walk while working, so convenient!

Absolutely love this under my living room couch. Works as a table for eating a tilted desk for bible study and a great holder for my laptop while I’m ewatching tv. Use it mtipke times a day.

Overbed table is very sturdy..made of iron and wood..Very heavy..Has a hydraulic lift and lots of heights.Perfect for someone who wakes frequently in the night to sit up and read a book or look at iPad..VERY EASY AND QUICK TO PUT TOGETHER..Took less than half an hour to put together..

Great product, EXCEPT for the white tilting mechanism on what is called a "black" table. The small eye sore on this quality piece is obviously not a deal breaker on this well built, sturdy, everything it says it is in the description, handsome table, but it definitely sticks out with its glaring stance of mockery on the edge that faces out when being used. It's a VERY inexpensive detail that was seemingly overlooked. Their QA needs coaching. Two months in, I still have the same reaction, an annoyed eyeroller. Since I have so much time to spare, (said by very few humans) I'll have to detach and spray it to match or perhaps take it apart and print a black one.

Quick set up and sturdy. Only thing is I wish it went a little lower as my couch is lower but other than that perfect for working from home!

Product is great and affordable BUT be aware that it’s not able to be used fully on both sides of the bed. I use the left side of the bed (if laying in the bed). If you push it under the bed on this side, you will not be able to use the tilt function as it’s backwards. No way to reverse it so I’ll have to battle my partner to swap sides if I want to use while in the bed.

The desk top has mind of its own. No matter at which height you place it, once you take your foot off the pedal and sit down to work, it rises slowly to its maximum height. When I asked for help from the manufacturer, they wanted photos, video, and copies of the mailing label from the outer box which, by the time they replied to my query, had been disposed of. It would have been perfect for my needs as an elderly person recovering from total knee replacement if it did its most important feature, i.e., STAYED AT A PRE-SET HEIGHT.
