Makes an impression!
I was pleasantly surprised that the stripes were not just on the outside. Red was swirled through the center too. It was solid, heavy, and I got it home without breaking it.

WORSE TASTING PEPPERMINT
This was the worse tasting supposedly peppermint candy cane I have ever tasted in my 57 years. It tastes like a cheap sugar stick with a hint of peppermint but has had a lot of menthol added to it. Thats the only way I can describe this awful thing. If I could find my receipt I would take it back and demand my money back. This shouldn't be sold as peppermint candy because it's got more menthol than actual peppermint in it.
