Gib Leg Practice Pad W/strap

I made this purchase for my grandson who plays snare in his highschool marching band, he loves it. So according to him this is a very good product snd allows jom to practice anytime and anywhere. For me the price was right. This was a good buy for both of us.

One thing I dont like about this practice pad is regardless of what leg you have it strapped on you have to move your arm back so the tip of your stick can hit in the center which causes discomfort in the shoulder after awhile. When I moved my arm forward to get comfortable I was hitting the edge and shoulder of the stick. Velcro strap holds the pad in place and the pad is just over 4" in diameter. Good pad to practice on it needs to be redesigned for comfort especially for the shoulders depending on which leg it is strapped to and the pad needs to be increased in size just a little. If there was a way the pad could be positioned in front of you and centered would be great.
