Gibson Home Everyday Essential White Dinnerware Set, 12-Piece Set

These are some substantial dishes! I am very impressed with the overall quality of them. They are heavy and sturdy. They have a very modern look the them, with a very flat bottom and a slightly rounded edge. The set looks so nice and I’m going to display them on my open shelves. The only downfall is that when stacked they do get really high. But they don’t act like they would topple over so it might be ok! I highly recommend these if you’re looking for new quality dishes. They did not disappoint!

I really like this set of plates – especially the bowls. During the whole pandemic thing, I’ve been eating more at home. When I’m feeling particularly lazy, I’ve been making packaged ramen at home. I add a bunch of vegetables and an egg, which makes for a sizable serving that doesn’t fit in some of my bowls. However, my ramen meal fits easily in these large bowls! For once, I don’t have to worry about accidentally spilling broth over the sides as I carry the bowl to the table. The wide base of the bowl gives it lots of stability too. So happy! I like the design of this set, including the slightly rustic edge. The dishes look casual and warm, in my opinion. I also enjoy the look of the distinctly raised lip on the edges of the plates – which serves the useful purpose of making sure no salad dressings or sauces slide off the edge of the plate. Regarding durability: just today, my husband lifted one of the bowls to put it in the microwave. As he lifted the bowl, he fumbled and knocked it around a bit on our granite countertop. The bowl survived this slight mishap, so I have high hopes for the durability of this dish set. I received the white set free has a spark reviewer, but I may go back and purchase the yellow set. That says something, doesn’t it?

Nice thick porcelain that I can trust my kids with! Easy care plates and bowls, wash easily in the dishwasher. The matte color of the porcelain looks chic and high end, like from a catalog store. I especially like the raw edge trim, which looks a bit primitive in its styling, which blends well in our “rustic” look kitchen. They shipped quickly, and arrived in pristine condition. Right out of the box they looked great next to our other designer tableware, that we save for special occasions. The bowls are petite, but a great size for snacks. I was able to use them in the microwave which was a deal-maker for me, as some more expensive plates we own, aren’t allowed in there. I heated up some wheat cereal and they hold heat well, rather than getting scalding hot like melamine plates do. These were a win for my family, since they seem durable. The quality was great, I was shocked they were from a value brand.

Pleasantly Surprised - Beautiful!!! Dinnerware well, well made. I like more of an eclectic look so I am very happy. They are a heavy-duty dinnerware.

This set is absolutely beautiful, simple and practical. It is stoneware so with that being said, the pieces are quite heavy. There are some flaws such as a small paint drip or one or two of the smallest almost non existent bubbles but that is part of the beauty of stoneware. My favorite and most important part about this dishes, they are microwave and dishwasher safe. As a family of 6, I utilize my dishwasher as much as possible and the microwave does get used white a bit so that is crucial when I pick out dishes.

Pretty and I love the little extra to show them off from ordinary dishes...however big con for me is they are heavy and chip easily. I don't think they would last long with the average family.

I love the color and. Price but, I have a small plate with a chip outta the glaze. Right out of the box, not sure if it's a mess up or in shipping?

These plates are quite heavy and the edges are unglazed. That seems to be part of the look, but touching those edges for me is like fingernails on a chalkboard. Pretty color, though.

I haven't even opened the boxes because they were ordered by mistake and I have waited over a week to get the labels needed to return several items.
