Gibson Home Rave Square 16-Piece Dinnerware Set, Taupe

I bought 2 sets so I had service for eight people. This set was brought out at our first dinner party, and it was a hit. Bowls are nice and deep. The colors are pretty with the light speckled color and contrasting dark brown colors. The plates, large and small, have a decently high lip so food will not slide off these plates. They went through the dishwasher & microwave well. I recommend these dishes.

large in size which I like,the cups are not to big, not to small.I have read people complaining of breakage I have had this set for a month ,nothing has chipped or broke so far,I have used in microwave ,no problem.

I loved that I was able to find a great deal and the product arrived within days to me. I didn't have to go into WalMart and deal with their awful lines. Free delivery and not a single plate was broken or cracked. I loved this shopping experience and my product is thick, modern, and very durable.

I received this set as a gift. One of the sets came with broken plates. So, I had to go the store and return it. They did not have the same set at the store which I was a really annoyed by that. they gave me store credit for the item. I had the order online and pay for shipping. Overall the set is beautiful.

I ordered these dishes to replace dishes that I had used for 11 years. I was worried about the color and quality of these since I wasn't able to see them in person. They arrived quickly and are beautiful. They were inexpensive so I wondered about chipping/cracking but I have had them for a few weeks and many washes with no problems. They seem to be of high quality and are sturdy. I love them!

I would of gave it all excellent but one of my bowls came in broken in the package. Still trying to figure out what to do with it since my walmart doesn't carry it. I haven't had a chance to take back to store but hopefully customer service will be able to help me get a new bowl.

I bought this set over a year ago and has remained chip free which is highly unusual compared to most stoneware. The pieces have been in the microwave, dishwasher and been in the hands of kids. I bought a much more expensive set from Macy's and that stoneware chipped instantly. I am very impressed with this product and price.

I love the look of this set, and especially the bowls (squared); however, the plates are HUGE. We use the "dessert plates" for meals, and I use the dinner plates for serving plates (roast, chicken, etc). I do love that the cups hold 16 ounces, much better for morning coffee than your average matched set of mugs.

Dishes are not durable. chips easily

Received this dinnerware last week and haven't used them yet. Some of the plates are painted crooked. I still have not decided if I will keep them or not. They are very, very heavy and the mugs are NOT 14 oz. as stated. I wanted a set with large mugs and these just measure about 12 oz. The bowls are square inside and black as are the mugs. I would have preferred the same color as the plates and a larger mug.
