Gibson Home Terra Bella Blue 16-Piece Dinnerware Set

I am absolutely thrilled with this set. I chose it out of a desire to obtain a set that has that real stoneware feel, and that "for everyday use" feel. This set does not disappoint; it has actually exceeded my expectations. The set is just lovely, while displaying an understated, elegance in presentation; it also aids in creating a sense of serenity and calm. It's so pleasing to the eye, I keep two pieces on display in my kitchenette, as one would display plates that are works of art.

Solid, pleasing set. Dinner plates and bowls are generous sized. Mugs and salad plates get lots of use at our house. Arrived quickly and without any chips, breaks, or defects. Heavy like the Hadley and Pfaltzgraff pieces we already own but much less expensive.

Great price and look for everyday dinnerware. I am real happy with the look and feel of all pieces. The bowls are huge and are very versatile to use in serving and cooking and the coffee cups are just the right size. I searched several places looking for everyday dinnerware and found these to be an excellent price and quality. Very happy with my purchase.

These dishes are a great value. They are not light and feel solid unlike other ones that feel almost hollow and bulky. The bowls are nice a big and the coffee mugs are a nice size to. They have a nice glaze to them and I got these for my son and I think I might get them for myself as well.d

Very securely packaged, no chips, dents, or dings of any kind that I could find. I love the color. The dishes are pretty heavy and feel sturdy. The tan part has a sand like appearance (a little grainy), but this will go perfectly for my house. Very good price, too!

I have been looking for the right set of dinner ware and I finally found them.I knew when I saw them that is what I've been searching for.All I can say is they are beautiful and even my husband likes them,(hurray).You will not be disappointed,if you love the stone ware look I promise.

We bought these to go into our new kitchen as everyday dishes. Colors are very nice, and blend into each other without drama. Good sized dishes...bowl is great for soups and chowders, and the dinner plates are large enough to fit everything. We are happy with them.

These are great! I comparison shopped for a couple of weeks before I decided on these. I was looking for generous sized plates that didn't have 1 1/2 or 2 inches of wasted space at the edge in the form of a raised rim. I wanted stoneware which is typically more durable but hopefully didn't weigh too much. Also I wanted mugs that held more than an 8 oz. teacup which to me is just wasted space in my cupboards. These have 11" dinner plates and the edges are scooped so that it will hold food all the way across and scoops up to a thin rim. Nothing will fall off your plate easily and if it happens to be very juicy it's not going to run over. The bowls are 8" wide and hold more food than our old 6" bowls that are deeper. My husband made taco salads in them for dinner and was more than enough food for me. The dessert plates are great at 8.5" for either just a sandwich and a few chips or a kid portion. The mugs are very sturdy and at 14 oz. holds more than a few sips. These dishes are not overly heavy like my old set. They have just enough weight to be durable but not so much they are hard to carry which was a problem with my old ones. These would be great for an older person with less strength who can't carry the heavier stoneware. I got the blue ones and they are very pretty too. I have used them in the dishwasher with no issues, in the microwave with no issues, and I have hand washed them with no problems. So this was a great buy and I have already ordered the second set to make dinnerware for eight. I definitely recommend these.

I have not bought new dishes in years and was nervous but they are so nice.They look beautiful in my cupboard and are the perfect size and the bowls are like pasta bowls they are great

i was unexpectedly surprised at how nice these dishes were. they were well packed and are very attractive. the only mild criticism I would have is that the bowls are really rather large for say a bowl of soup or cereal. the plates, and cups are great. really nice dishes for a very good price.
