It was easy enough to install but make sure you account for the fact. If you have solid state drive it heatsinks on it. You're going to have to take the thermal plates off of the motherboard just to get them to fit. I had to take both thermal plates off just to get my solid state drives to fit cuz they had already had thermal guards on them. It will not fit if those thermal guards are on your solid state drives to begin with. It's too tall and too fat. And if it wasn't for the fact that it had four ports I couldn't have gotten all three of my drives and one didn't have a thermal guard on it and the other two one goes on the top. The main port and the other one had to be separated from the one that didn't have it and I literally just got it barely fit in. I almost but not quite had a jam it in which I didn't like and after 2 months my audio jack the rear audio jack outtake Port for my speakers died. I spent 45 minutes on the phone with gigabyte to try to resolve the issue and the only thing they said is RMA it or use your extended warranty or call the company where you bought it from. I found a way around that by using a cell phone adapter with a 3.5 mm Jack to type c adapter. I was able to plug that into my thunderbolt ports with the 3.5 Jack on the other end and my speakers are working now. It'll still work on my top porch but that's stretching the wire. So far it's kind of sagging and I don't like that and now I have code 61 on my motherboard. The day after I spoke to someone from gigabyte which means something with my virtual ram. But after spend ing over 2 hours with artificial intelligence trying to narrow it down, we couldn't find anything wrong with really anything else. We changed the BIOS, updated a bunch of things with that updated all my other drivers with everything else and we still couldn't find a reason for it. And my friend said and the AI said if you don't have any problems then don't worry about it. It's only 2 months if you're 5-year warranty with the matter Factor. Plus you have an extended warranty on top of that. So if it gets worse you have two. If not, three options. I'm leaving it alone for now, but something that costs $660 and that's with tax shouldn't have any of these problems. This is one of the top-of-the-line boards that gigabyte has probably the second best one that they have or third best but $550 for a board plus tax and everything and then the warranty. It shouldn't have any problems but it did. Seems okay for now, but we'll see what happens in the future. Gigabyte still makes good products cuz my last board had zero problems in it and this the first time in 25 years I've ever had a problem with a a 3.5 mm Jack outtake port on the rear of my Tower. Go bad first time and I have no idea why it's doing that. Not for all the money I paid for this thing. I think it's still worth it overall because if it wasn't for all the extra ports they had in the back. I would have had to resort to the top port for my speakers
