I got one for my oldest grandson and had to get two more for my twin 3 year old grandsons.
He really enjoys it
Arrived quickly. To be given as a present
My search for the perfect bed tent for my 7 year old son led my to the giga tent Dream catcher bed tent. This has a nice fit on the bed and is spacious. The feature that caught my eye was the hook to hang a flashlight on. This is not part of the tent. I can not find anywhere to hang anything what so ever. This disappointed me. I like the product but not for the price. The material is weak and I almost wished I had settled on one of the cheaper tents I was looking at and been satisfied.
This purchase only gets more than one star because it is a cute concept, and who does not want to enter a bed tent?!? Pros: It is darn cute and has lots of windows. If your little one should have a nighttime potty mess, it is easy enough to take the tent top off of the velcro strips attached to the fitted sheet and wash the sheet. Cons: The quality is terrible - you first understand this when you open the box and read that the manufacturer only guarantees workmanship for 2 weeks post purchase, which is a little ridiculous for a $50+ product! The velcro concept is interesting, but if the tent is not exactly sitting on the strips, your kid will get scratched. Also, when you wash the fitted sheet, because the scratchy side of the velcro is on the sheet and not the tent, you can't wash it with anything else otherwise those other pieces of fabric (like socks, undies, other sheets...) will also stick to the velcro. This ends up fraying the other fabric and, worse, tearing the bottom sheet. The loops that hold the bed tent frame together are coming apart and one of the plastic poles that keeps the tent upright is now sticking out of the setup. The door ties are shoddy and really do not keep the flaps open enough to get air circulation in the tent (but I suppose the designers might not have been able to help that). If you want kids to love it, yes they will. If you want it to stand up to reasonable wear and tear for more than two months, the pricetag does not reflect its quality.
Tent is small and holes that poles go through I almost ripped just putting poles in. They are flimsy. Tent is light weight and Fine for smaller evil seen not big enough for my 7 year old.
