One pair had threading unravel. Was along the topside of the waistband, but I don't use the cord to cinch the waist, and that seam looks to be mostly cosmetic. Still, taking out a load from the washer to find a long thread strewn amongst the load is disappointing. Gildan has typically been better quality than Fruit of the Loom or Hanes. Seems a bit heavier weight than Fruit of the Loom or Hanes, so a bit warmer in winter. Fit is good; i.e., it fits how I expected for the selected size. I had Gildan sweats before, but they were too big: 2XL, but I lost 160 pounds, so needed smaller pants. Also, all sweat pants seems to loose elasticity in the waistband, and I end up using suspenders not to pull up but to keep from falling down. Tightening the cord is an uncomfortable pinch, and a nuisance to untie when needing a bathroom break. After a few years, I buy replacements, plus this time I needed to go down to the large size, so I didn't look like I was wearing balloon pants. Other than the 1 pair that had a non-critical seam unravel, none of the others unraveled. They've been washed at least 4 times each. So, overall I'm happy with them. I first bought one pair to check sizing, liked it, so I bought more. I'll still buy more of these in the future if I need more sweat pants.
The Gildan brand has always been one of my favorite athletic brands. They make great products that are well made. The Gildan sweatpants have deep pockets so your phone doesn't fall out %26 has a nice drawstring.
bought as a gift for my wheelchair bound roommate. He wore them for the first time today. He is VERY happy with them and they definitely keep his legs warm. His birthday is next month. I'm going to buy him another pair.
Usually my husband doesn't like it when I buy his clothes. But these sweatpants were a big hit. They are heavy in that they are warm, But they are somewhat lightweight and very very comfortable. He wears them everyday when he gets home from work
I love that I could get a 3 pk at such a great price. My husband has cancer and went from L/ XL to a small. They fit great and with the elastic on the bottom (not the band) helps getting them on over his feet! Very happy!

They are Gildans. Not much more to say about that. They are exactly what I expected in a Gildan as far as quality. BUT...they run very small. I wear an XL t-shirt and boxers and an XL sweat pant. I insist on Gildan products because they always run true to size. However this is where they fall short on their sweat pants. The XL fits like a snug L so sadly I had to return them.
Normally I would give 5 stars to Gildan products. I buy their T-shirts (white and colored), and sweat shirts. I've also bought their sweat pants, but this pair is the first one I've hit a snag ... literally. After the 1st wash, threading on the top of the waistband came undone, and a lot of it. The waistband has 2 seams: the material comes up and folds over the pull cord, there is sewing at the bottom to affix the folded over material to the pants, and top sewing which probably keeps the cord in place, and possibly the elastic. The bottom threading is okay, so the waist stays sewn down to the pants. The top threading came undone, and got wrapped around these pants and other items in the wash. After taking out to find the long unthreaded thread, I tied a knot using both sides to keep from further unraveling. Threading is not locked. That is, the thread is just a simply loop between top and bottom threads, so once a thread starts to unravel then nothing stops further unraveling. I just bought 4 Gildan sweat pants, and had 2 of them before, and this is the first time I encountered the unraveling. I'll have to test on next wearing if the elastic and cord stay in place, and remain usable. Unraveling was about a quarter around the waist from where the cord exits at the front to just behind the right side of the pants. I liked Gildan, because their quality was usually better than Fruit of the Loom and Hanes, but this pair was disappointing. The color is nice, and didn't fade in the 1st wash. If not for the dethreading, I would rate these at 5 stars. Tis a pity they don't use a locking stitch, or, at least, swipe several times back an forth at the ends to help ensure threads don't unravel.
Upon taking sweat pants out of plastic, there were dirty smudges on one leg and a stain INSIDE pants. Grossed out is an understatement. Clearly this was a USED return item. Disgusted
The sweatpants I received do not have pockets and are not elastic on the bottom.
