Bought this for my teenage son to start saving for the very first time was so scared he was going to cut himself but this razor worked wonders not even one little nic
Skinguard Blades are Fantastic, Premium Blades result in a Smooth, Super Close Shave w/ Minimal Passes needed, the Rubber Skinguard has likewise made all Knicks, Cuts, and any RazorBurn irritation practically Non-Existent❕Rating 5/5
Probably the best shave Ive ever had. No tugging, pulling, or anything. I used the Gillette 2 in 1 proglide shave gel with this razor. I could feel every pore on my face bursting with freshness like I could breathe through my face.
The razor is unique. It shaves very well, and you don't feel anything at all, that is, that you are shaving at all. The feeling is incredibly soft and pleasant. Very close to the classic BBS shave.
The razor is good quality made and does live up to the expectation of not causing irritation for those with sensitive skin, however the shave is not as close due to having only 2 blades. So it's a trade off kind of thing - no discomfort, but not as close. Overall not too bad - just something to consider.
The razor is probably the most comfortable shave I’ve ever had. Better than any other cartridge or double edged razor, or even electric shaver. But it’s not a close shave. Any other razor, and even most electric shavers, will give a closer shave. Even the cheek and chin area (usually the easiest places to shave) are not cut close. If you have extremely sensitive skin and nothing else has worked, this is worth a try. Or if you just don’t care about the closeness of the shave. Otherwise, I’d keep looking.
Meh. It's my fourth handle since I started using this style and it's no different than the previous ones. Cartridges only have two main blades instead of four like others in this Gillette series. That's fine, I don't need a box of razors on my face. Less prone to cutting myself with a sideways swipe when shaving my head.
I guess I should start this out by saying I’m a girl so I used this razor for legs, underarms, and bikini area, so I’m not sure if my review is relatable to using it for facial hair. But, I have used the Gillette Fusion5 for years and LOVE it, it’s hands down my favorite razor! But, as wonderful as it is, I still experience bikini area razor burn. So I thought I’d give this razor a try and was SO disappointed. I definitely didn’t get a close shave like I do with the fusion5 and not only did I get bikini line razor burn but also underarm. I’m definitely switching back to my trusty Fusion5.
Razor didn't last longer then 4 uses before blade became to dull to cut properly. Blade head design causes hairs to clog it up requiring you to spend a few minutes after every 3 stroke shaking it madly to get all the hairs out.
I have used several Gillette razors in the past I bought this one tried it several times but it will not get the hair off and the hair wasn’t long
