Gingher 5" Knife Edge Sewing Scissors, Silver

Gingher makes excellent scissors. I have many different styles and sizes of ginghers and love them all. They are very sharp and stay sharp, they are very well made, edges are smooth, and blades fit tightly for a perfect cut. I am an embroiderer and most of my embroidery friends also have Gingher scissors.

They feel comfortable in my hands and cut my materials with ease. The only thing I don't like is the sheath. It is too short. Other than that, I do recommend them if you need a pair of quality scissors.

I've been looking for scissors that I could use to cut several thickness' of cord for non-wire jewelry making. These were perfect! They are a smaller size, so they fit in my tool kit but the handles are big enough for larger fingers. They cut very well. I can cut through 8 cords of c-lon 18 with no problem. I'm sure they would work well with light to mid-weight fabrics. Good value for the money!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried these on a few different materials knowing they are sewing scissors but man do they have a smooth cut. These are probably one of the best sewing scissors I have found. They cut smoothly and don't leave loose bits that some other scissors I have tried do. These are absolutely amazing and I'll defiantly seek these out in the future when I am in the market for great maybe amazing sewing scissors. They honestly cut like butter. Smoothest cut I have ever done!
