I love the brand of scissors and they always do an amazing job. I accidentally ordered the wrong size blade not realizing there were different sizes. I would recommend this brand of scissors to any seamstress

i thought i bought the 8 inch dressmaker shears instead i got the 7 inch

They are sharp. Cut cleanly. House rule/ never cut anything but fabric with my silver scissors. I have and ancient thread snippet that are still the best. My great aunt used them at a textile mill.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These felt like really quality scissors. They have a nice heft to them, but not to heavy. They are really sharp, it literally cut everything like butter, all clothes, paper, anything you need to be cut.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have smallish hands as a petite woman and I love these 7” scissors for cutting patterns. They are also great for cutting fabric, but I like to keep separate pairs of scissors specifically for pattern cutting and fabric. This pair of Ginghers has a smaller hand grip, not just smaller length shears so keep that in mind. I am very happy with this pair of Ginghers, they are extremely well made and with good care they will last at least a lifetime. Highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So these are excellent shears, very sharp very strong and definitely able to stop the job. The reason I gave them only three stars is because of the size. If you have larger hands these are not comfortable at all. You must have very small hands to be able to use these for than a couple of minutes. If the finger holes were made larger to be more comfortable for large hands these would be absolutely perfect and deserve five stars
