Gingher Spring-action Knife-edge Dressmaker Shears (8"), Silver

The Gingher spring action scissors are wonderfully sharp for dressmaking and I love the spring action as it saves my hands by not having to take the extra motion of opening the scissors after cutting. I list the first pair that I had for years and was really pleased to find these at such a great price!

they are very sharp and glides through fabric. They have a very comfortable fit for my hand. I have carpal tunnel and they don't put any pressure on my hands.

I have been using Gingher scissors since I worked as asst manager on So Fro fabrics. I love how the feel like they are cutting thru butter. I wanted to start making rag quilts which requires a lot of snipping. The spring action takes less tole on the hand because it releases by it self. My only complaint would be that in the past when I bought all my scissors the came with a plastic case to put the blades of the scissors in. To help protect.

Love these scissors! They are the sharpest most easy to handle and cut with. I am definitely purchasing another pair for the shop. Also, the spring loaded handle and lock are the greatest.

Great, sharp fabric scissors. I am new to sewing, so I don't have much experience with other fabric scissors, but I do like the spring action mechanism for its added utility.

Excellent scisssors!

Scissors were not as described. They were supposed to come in a collectible decorative tin. They arrived in a plane plastic package. They were ordered as a gift so the plain packaging was a disappointment. Wal-Mart should make sure the item descriptions are more accurate. Scissors are just fine though.
