Giovanni 50:50 Balanced Hydrating Calming Conditioner - 8.5 oz

The conditioner is great. It made my hair very soft %26 smooth. My hair was very manageable after using this product.

My daughter has 4A low porosity hair and this is the only conditioner that has ever worked to keep her curls hydrated and defined! I use this along with the Mane Choice ( easy on the curls ) shampoo, the Mane Choice ( heavenly halo ) softening milk, and the clear Xtreme styling gel with the green top..her wash

New favorite conditioner. Smells nice, works like it is supposed to, and it lasts awhile (I bought this back in March and I just ran out yesterday.) Purchasing a larger size this time.

This is a good shampoo and happy with the product.

Makes my hair soft

I have been using this product for years. I have thick, naturally curly hair that tends to be dry and frizzy. This is the best conditioner I've used by far. My only complaint is the packaging: I don't like the bottles the product comes in. The conditioner is quite thick and when the bottle is more than half empty it's a pain to squeeze it out. I wish they sold it in larger bottle that were better designed. I do love all of Giovanni's products...I also use the Frizz Be Gone which is also the best product like it I've eve used.

This is a good product with a couple of caveats. It is extremely thick. When the container is 1\2 empty it is very difficult to squeeze the conditioner out of the container. Secondly, this conditioner is too concentrated even for my thick wavy hair. It flattens the hair even when a very small amount is used. In desperation I finally diluted the remaining product with water so that it would flow out of the container, and to decrease the heavy conditioning effect. In that way I solved 2 problems!

I have really stubborn hair cuticles that refuse to open up to take in moisture. This is the only conditioner I've ever tried (and I've tried a LOT) that immediately absorbs into my hair. Others will sit on top and pretend to moisturize, but this one gets in and pulls all the moisture from the shower. I now have "wash and go" hair for the first time in my life that is so shiny and smooth. I really wish Walmart would sell this in stores.

I think this is a very good hair conditioner, but I have to be careful to not over-use it as I have naturally curly hair (wavy to curly, with loose curl formation) that is fine and does not tend to dryness. The conditioner has so many conditioning plant oils in it that I found that if I used it for too long of a time period in a row, it made my hair lifeless without good curl formation and weighed it down, from over-moisturizing. If you have drier hair, I think it would be an outstanding conditioner, giving lots of moisture without over-doing it. I tried Giovanni's Deep Moisture Conditioner as well, and boy did it REALLY over-moisturize my hair! That one is for really, really dry hair that needs deep conditioning. The only complaint I have other than too many plant oils in the ingredients for me, is the fact that they use a fragrance ingredient. It is not the strongest fragrance I've smelled in hair products, but it is still pretty strong, and fragrance ingredients are actually not good for health.
