To start .. I've loved this brand for years ! And the skillet Gnocchi turned out excellent! It's so quick and easy ! I lightly browned the gnocchi added a touch of butter .. garlic.. herbs .. salt and a little grated Parmesan cheese . I used all fresh ingredients . The Skillet Gnocchi was a hit !!! I definitely recommend it !!
i have recommended this product to others; its Soo good!! Just another way to enjoy gnocchi!! I brown it up in the skillet, throw a wee bit of seasoning on it, some parmesan and thinly shredded mozzarella cheeses, and dip the gnocchi into the sauce of my choice that day. Red sauce and Alfredo are both appropriate with this!! Or no sauce at all!! It IS that yummy!!! And $2? i mean, what a steal!! 💯
From the excellent, though brief enough that you might miss it, directions, i learned for the first time about crisping the gnocci. That was absolutely wonderful and perfect first try. I will always do that now. It makes a fabulous difference, thank you.
You can try them in many ways: pesto, tomato sauce, heavy cream and diced ham, just butter, … I usually boil them till they float on top of the water and they are amazing. Simple yet very tasty. The quality is Giovanni Rana, no need to say much more ( try also the pesto, it's so good!)
this gnocchi is perfect to fry in butter and pasta sauce. Gives the outside of the potato pasta a crunch with a soft inside. Sprinkle some chili flakes on it for a real kicker. This is the easiest gnocchi I have found.
Still haven't found the right way to cook these. I didn't care for the bag instructions, fried just didnt seem right. Im hoping to try them in a soup next time.
I continually purchase this item for my teenage grandson that lives with me.. He loves it and eats it 3-4 times a week. This is an item he likes to prepare himself. He puts a Pesto sauce over it or a Vodka sauce that I pur
OMG...I love ❤️ this pan fried gnocchi. I have been banned from cooking it (after cooking it 6 days straight). The consensus is "NO"! At least for a bit!
I have never tried gnocci before so I didn't really know what to expect. I made them per the instructions and they were "ok". They taste like an overbaked potato on the inside (you know when it's been waaay overcooked?) and chewy bread at the same time. Butter and salt helped. So then I tried to put them into an italian recipe with sauce but that just made things worse. Ima have to be a no on the gnocci
extremely tough and overly chewy, and I am usually pretty good at making gnocchi. I much prefer the TJ's brand for a simple, quick, and easy to season and caramelize well option.
