Giovanni Root 66 Max Volume Conditioner, 8.5 FL OZ

I really like this conditioner for my fine low-porosity 3a curls. Usually conditioners weigh down my hair, but this doesn't! And it still is very hydrating!

This entire line of conditioners is exceptional. I have been using them for years, the shampoos are great too (and curly girl method approved). This provides great slip and moisture without weighing hair down or making it feel greasy. Also works great as a leave-in.

My hair has never felt so healthy!!! I have been trying many many different brands of sulfate-free shampoos. The shampoos feel like they strip my hair and their coordinating conditioners never condition it enough to bring it back to a silky feeling. That is not the case with Giovanni Shampoos and Conditioners!!! I am so happy to finally find shampoos and conditioners I can feel good about and to top it off my hair feels healthy and silky!!! AWESOME!!!

This is a favorite of mine! I use it in combination with the Root 66 shampoo. Fantastic products for volume!!

I noticed my 2c low porosity hair was much fuller. My other shampoo/conditioner duo seemed to do the complete opposite and I started experiencing more shedding. I used this conditioner with Giovanni Root 66 Shampoo, and noticed a difference in fullness after 1 use. Along with the incredible scent and volume, came some dryness so I just cut down to using every other wash day. It really did make a difference in volume.

I tried the leave-in conditioner and loved it so I thought I would try the Max Volume conditioner since my hair is thin and flat. I liked the smell and it made my hair soft and shiney but not really a lot of volume. My hair did feel a little more oily the next day and it left a strange fruity odor in my hair. I would not recommend for every day use.

I find Giovanni's product to be very good overall. This conditioner does not seem to add much volume at all to my thin hair. It is a fair conditioner with a very cool name: I would give it more 'leaves' if it were not sold as a volumizing conditioner.

Using this conditioner along with the shampoo that goes with it, my hair feels incredible for the day I use it. However, the next day my hair gets oily and stringy. I will be looking elsewhere for hair shampoo/conditioners that will last longer than a day.

I have been using Giovanni Products for a while now. I am currently contemplating returning this product because the ingredients have been changed. I had another bottle of this Conditioner and it was so amazing because it had a different formula. I am very disappointed in Giovanni not Swanson by any means.
