GIR Get It Right 5 Piece Essentials Silicone Cooking Utensils Set Nonstick Heat Resistant Kitchen Utensils for Cooking and Baking, Royal Blue

Because I mostly use stainless utensils, rarely cooking in non-stick pans, I wanted quality silicone without breaking the bank. I had been watching the GIR Ultimate set on Amazon, waiting for the price drop that never happened, when I happened upon this Essentials set. The price point was perfect. I have no idea how the Ultimate compares to this set, but I'm happy with the quality. As some have noted, their “red” is not the typical bright red you normally see on kitchen appliances and tools. It is definitely more on the orange-red side of the spectrum. I've read some complaining about the flimsy front side of the ladle. The first time I used it, it seemed pretty obvious the intent and I do believe it was a design element rather than a flaw. I was able to easily scoop up every last drop in my enamel Dutch oven as the “flimsy” ladle conformed to the curves inside. But it's not too flimsy to hold its shape when full of liquid. I love them!

So glad I bought these for cooking. The spatula is even sturdy enough to smash down my hamburgers. The grip is perfect and the set gives you versatile options for daily kitchen tasks. Material is far better quality than all other utensils I've owned. I'm probably going to gift several of these to my friends who enjoy cooking.

I just love this set. I'll buy it over and over again if it's still available. The construction is strong. The silicone cleans easily by hand.

Best utensil set we've ever used! Gf wanted pink and honestly it's a nice pink. They wash off easily %26 No staining.

I'm replacing my "silicone" utensils (that have plastic mixed in with the silicone) with these. They are working out great!

Just exactly what I wanted! Handles easily, nice size scoops, cute in my utensil holder on counter. Would match any color decor. Just… exactly. :)

Got rid of all black plastic! This is a great silicone set for those pans you don't want to scratch

Nice set with some disappointments. The color is a red-orange rather than a true red. The spatula is oriented for right-handers, not us lefties. The long handles on some pieces make them seem a little off-balance.

I liked these utensils, BUT the "red" color is orangey red, not a true red like other items in my kitchen. The other problem is they absorb odors. I used the ladle to scoop out a crockpot roast beef and gravy. The gravy had onions and seasonings. The ladle was in the crockpot while we ate dinner, perhaps 15-20 minutes. I washed the ladle and put it away in the drawer. Next day I opened that drawer and I smelled the crockpot gravy. I re-washed the ladle and afterward put it away. The next day when I opened that drawer I again smelled the gravy. This time I put it in a bowl of water and lemon juice to soak all afternoon, but when I went to do the supper dishes I sniffed it, and could still smell the gravy. I left it overnight in the lemon juice and water, and this morning I could still smell it, although it was much fainter. Had I known, this would have been a deal breaker for me, who wants to use utensils that need special care?? I would not recommend this set for that reason.

Did not like.. all the hype I thought they would be great.. nope can't stand picking them up and they feel weird .. I'll stick with the Dollar tree from now on.. disappointed
