My son loves it! It does have real drum heads and I guess you could tune it if you do desire. It does come with a drum key. The cymbal is not something you would want on stage but for my 3 year old it's more than good enough. He did manage to break the chain on the kick pedal but he may be a bit over zealous with his playing. Either way, I would buy again no matter what the neighbors say.

What an awesome drum set for a kiddo! My little guy loves going into the “drum room” at our local music store/studio while my older two take their guitar and piano lessons. My son is a very tall 5 year old (98th percentile) and sits perfectly on the stool at the tallest height. They sound like a good quality mini version of the real drums he plays on at the studio. The drums are a smash! Pun intended. One complaint the foot pedal doesn't hook on real tight but no one seems to be bothered by it except for me. Otherwise seems to be of fairly high quality.

My Son loves this drum the assembly was a lot but the instructions were perfect I assembled it without his dad so women we can do it it comes with sticks a seat and the biggest drums ever my son is 2 and the drum seems it will grow with him if you need to adjust it !!

My 5 year old loved this drumset. It was perfect for his size. Overall it had a great quality, it looked sturdy and it sounded great too! highly recommend.

Excellent starter set! Bought for my 7 year-old to learn on, but his older and younger siblings also have fun with it!

They're okay but the set up is awful the drums don't stay tight enough and will come apart!
