This is the worst plastic wrap I have ever used. It does not make anywhere near the same kind of seal that the thin transparent flexible plastic wrap that I've always used does and had I realized that this was not that kind of product I would have never purchased it. It sort of seals the first time it's used, but forget about getting it to seal again after that. I will never purchase it again. My biggest issue is deciding whether I should struggle through the second roll that I purchased in a 2-pack or just throw out the second roll.
Do this every year to my Christmas Tree! It is the BEST time saving thing ever! I store the tree whole standing up in my garage and it takes up less or the same amount of space as the tree box and all the ornament boxes that I no longer have to store!
LOVE what the product does! HOWEVER... We should make the tear-away on the box more functional. I find that the plastic serrated edge breaks off very quickly. Then, I have no way to tear it off other than using scissors. Then, my scissors get sticky stuff on them, and I need to have them cleaned and sharpened.
Love the actual product, but the plastic cutting tool that is included in the box SUCKS! I constantly shred the plastic and renders the whole product useless. Please go back to a metal cutter like the rest of the free world.
I love your product and I practically use it every day But there is a flaw with The dispensing roll. It is very weakly and loosely designed. Unlike The high quality of The wrap it self . The end holders always come lose and I end up sticking my finger to get The wrap dispensing
I am a longtime user of Press & Seal. I am writing to say you have a production issue. Number one, the white plastic that hold the roll in place have come out more times than I can count. Secondly, I have had an issue with the last few rolls I have purchased getting it to roll easily. I've had to lift it out of box to unroll by pulling on it to get the length I need. I love the product. I don't like what is happening.
This is a economical package where you get get a larger roll for less. Press n'seal can be quite finnicky if you accidentally press down on the roll itself as it tends to then adhere to itself and dispensing becomes a difficult exercise. This 140 sq.ft roll also requires a very large palm to open the top cover (when holding it in the left hand) and still manage to dispense the required amount of the sheet with the right hand. I have managed to handle this effectively by cutting a notch in the top cover to hold it firmly in the left hand while dispensing the required amount of roll with your right hand. That said, I could not live without Press n'Seal. It really shines when you consider the extreme clinginess and awkwardness of using their their other cling product!
Keep Sunroof from Leaking during Hurricane Irma!! I was Glad!! My family laughed at me when I did it because they were spectacle until we checked out the inside of my car-- it was dry!! Honestly, I was surprised it was still on my car sealed. Thank you Glad for making a versatile product!
Glad Press 'n Seal used to be the best product on the market for wrapping food. Now we can't get the wrap to tear off without it being an uneven mess and eventually we're unable to get it to unroll at all. Last night I heard my husband wrestling with something in the kitchen, minutes later he handed me the product and told me to mail it back to Glad, and to ask them what we're supposed to do with this mess. I chose this route because I didn't want to spend any more money on this.
I cut my little finger and a bandage wasn't enough. I didn't want to keep changing the bandage and tried to water proof it. I went for the plastic wrap, and saw the press n seal. WOW!! the light bulb went off and I created a water proof cover over the bandage! It's been on all day ! It was perfect. Not too tight, and sealed it gently. I will always have this product in my home! Not just for bowls anymore!!!
