Quick tie really is ideal when we use 30gal bags. Our large household loves these sturdy bags for our weekly trash. The quick tie is fantastic for the heavy volume that these bags can hold--gives me a great handle to hold.

And garbage day was the next day. I had the Glad 30 gallon box on the shelf and had not yet used them. The intent was to save them for less "strenuous" activities. But I had no other choice but to use them to pack all my garbage into one of them and set it by the curb. I just dreaded getting up the next morning and finding garbage everywhere, because the bag broke. Wow was I surprised! As I packed the frozen chunky stuff into the bag it held up perfectly, expanding but not breaking. The ties held and there was no garbage on my curb in the morning! These bags are very strong!

Have been using these bags continuously for 5 years, but recently have noticed a deterioration in quality. Something is going wrong when bags are being packaged as I'm finding tears and holes in bags. What's going on guys?
