Gladiator Overhead GearLoft™ Storage Rack 2 x 4, GALS24M1

These Storage racks are fantastic! Incredibly solid and well constructed. The instructions are well written. Putting them up took a bit because of the way my trusses were laid out. But after I figured taht out they went up easily.

This shelf is holding all of my pc equipment. The assembly went up quickly and this is our second purchase of Gladiator shelving. We recenty got a shed and I might be making another purchase for that and our garage come spring. Thank you Gladiator!

Store almost anything you want in this GearLoft as the sturdy structure and design make it stronger and more stable then anything else in the marketplace. I love keeping things off my garage floor, and this did the trick.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installed this a month ago and couldn't be happier. I wasn't sure how I'd like it, so got the small one as a test case. Now I'm trying to figure out how to maximize all this dead ceiling space in my garage. Installation - once you find the ceiling joists under the sheetrock, installation is easy. The lag bolts are a little long-winded so I strongly recommend a ratchet rather than a wrench. Once the support brackets are bolted in, the rest is a snap. Assembly - instructions recommend two people for assembly. That's not because of weight but simply because the actual shelf is just bulky and you really need two hands to guide the connections in place. This part literally takes less than five minutes and almost anyone can handle the light weight of one end while you attach the other end. Use - instructions say it's rated for up to 400 pounds if I remember correctly. I'm not using it for anything close to that. Just a couple of bins of Christmas decorations. But I believe it'll definitely hold the rated weight. I love the ability to adjust the drop from the shelf to the ceiling to maximize the use of the space. All-in-all a great product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a small and shallow garage so it makes it difficult to store anything in it. The only thing we are able to fit in the garage are both our vehicles and a small tool chest. Due to the limited space, we invested in a shed. Since installing the rack that was sent, this has allowed me to store all my car cleaning materials up above, in the garage, saving me a trip from having to go to the back of the house, to the shed for additional tools and supplies related to our vehicles. The only think I would change is getting a bigger size
