Really helps

Mods October 16, 2022

I have found the sun shield so helpful that I ordered 2 more for friends. I've only had to use it a couple of times to deal with the glare from early morning, horizon-level sun. It was easy to install. It is easy to simply pull down when needed and push back in place. Does not spoil the looks of permanent sun visor.

Not a waste of money on this one.

The morning sun was blinding me as I made my way to work every morning. My visor was not low enough to block it. I attached the Zap visor and it works perfectly. It blocks better than my polarized sunglasses. A must purchase!!

I'm glad I bought it!

UniqueNickname71 July 14, 2014

I'm a little disappointed that it isn't entirely distortion-free, but overall, I'm happy I bought it. Also, I'm using it in a way I didn't anticipate: Without pulling the headrest all the way down, I'm tilting the shield down in front of my eyes and viewing the entire road through this glare-blocking panel. Since this puts the shield closer to my eyes, it's like a large portion of the windshield is sun-blocked.

Does the job and fits perfectly on my visors.

ozarkfred September 21, 2014

The visor material has "waves" that are times negatively affects my field of vision. Not a hazard, though!! I will be ordering another set in the near future.

I like them

Littlebill85 September 26, 2018

Very happy with 2 of these, however they are not optical plastic so there is some minor distortion but acceptable. In our 2014 Honda CRV the visor extends down to just above the steering wheel without a gap in driver's line of sight.

So Far, So Good

miatax November 22, 2014

We have had these a few days and not all of them have been sunny. But when it was, the shades worked well on reducing the glare from wet roads and oncoming cars. One has a little bit of waviness in it, but the others are all very clear and distortion free. ( We bought two sets - one for each car.) The shields clip to the existing visor easily and quickly and are easy to stow or extend. I think that they will be a valuable addition on long road trips.

It works......but,

gramgram9461 June 22, 2016

I have a Subaru Crosstrek and it fits fine, no problems w/fit at all. BUT it is awkward using it, if I did not have it down from the start. If the sun gets in my face suddenly, as it frequently has, I have hit myself in the nose and even momentarily taking my eyes off the road for the adjustment. Now these are my own doing, so my own fault but I think it would be pretty common, at least till you are very accustomed to the use of it. It is best when I leave the driveway w/it in position and ready for use. I do not know about night use, I have not needed it for that. It is the same color amber as many sunglasses that I own. I have tried using it w/sunglasses and it is too dark for that, I would not advise anyone to use both together. Bottom line is it does work, but I think it needs getting use to

not made very well

Rosie November 10, 2021

Went to put it down and it is frozen in place and won't move. I tried using silicone spray to loosen it but when trying to move in down, it broke. Have only had it a short time and now I need to find another one.

Terrible product...

JohnR August 28, 2021

Terrible product... cant see through the plastic. Its blurred and you cant really see oncoming cars. I didnt try it until after return expired. I will just throw it out. What a waste.

Not durable!!

Carol December 6, 2020

I did not like this as it hangs weird as it is too long and it broke because you cannot move it up or down easily. It is made of cheap plastic that breaks easily.
