The product in the picture is not the product shipped. The ones that ship to you are the PERFORATED, not LOUVERED (as the one in the picture is), but fear not, as this is a good thing, better flow with the same sound as classic glasspacks. Put two on a 5.9 Dakota R/T, very happy with the souund. Would definitely buy again.
I bought these mufflers for my '57 Chevy.... I had installed "Cherry Bombs" on my '48 Ford, way back in 1988. They sounded AWESOME! I actually won the "Muffler Rap" contest at a car show with those, sometime in the early 1990's. My '57 Chevy had an old set of Turbo mufflers on it that were 'burned out'. When I was looking for new mufflers, my memory took me back to "Those thrilling days of yesteryear", when I owned the '48 Ford. Thankfully the "Cherry Bombs" are still available, but they are "Made in Mexico these days. Sadly, the "Cherry Bomb" window stickers were not included in my recent purchase, I guess that they discontinued including those with the mufflers.
I had bought a set 30 years ago and loved them and they still are in great shape, so I thought I would try them again and I was pleased to see they are still made today with the same great quality as they were then. They even still give you the Cherry Bomb decals.
Great product that gives you a nice, deep, throaty sound to your vehicle! Not as loud as would have hoped for but it sounds really good!
(2) on a RAM V10 350 they scream not for the faint of heart. A bit too much, as is the Cherry Bomb. Light fuse and get away
Replaced my resonator with this and did a muffler delete on my 2011 Kia Optima SX. Car has a really awesome sound now. Low tuner rumble. Pretty loud, but not Ricey. Might throw some vibrant mufflers on there as well though, the highway drone is pretty bad.
