Glidden One Coat Peppered Pecan / Tan Flat Exterior Paint with Primer, 1 Gallon

I chose Glidden's because of this past experience, and found that the new Glidden's exterior paint went on easily, covered good and dried within hours. The next day the shed exterior looked like new again, and I am convident that it willl last another very long time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoyed using this paint. It is a primer and paint all in one. The paint is a little thicker than other paints that I have used. It was easy to open and even easier to apply. I used this paint on my front porch floor. The application was smooth and it had no bubbles. I am very impressed with this product. It dried very fast. I would reccomend this paint to anyone that wants a beautiful coat in one application.

I bought about 12 gallons of this paint in the US for my house in Canada. (for my Shed, Fence, Decks...) I already used TOP quality paints about 3 times more expensive that this one. I had no expectation, but I said to myself, why not? It is by far one of the best Exterior paint I used up to now. It lasted an all time record cold Winter (reaching -30oF), crazy winds and one of the most rainy Spring season I've ever seen in my life. Very easy to apply, quick to dry, NO, I said NO ODOR... at all. Really tough on walls, a bit less on flat surfaces, but still much better than what I had before that did cost much more. One drawback... It is not available in Canada YET, WHY OH WHY!!!! I am missing a half gallon to finish the job, I need to cross the border to get another one, 2 hours of car... but it worth it.

Not only was it one coat it was the perfect color. I am a Glidden user for life now. It was so easy to use, goes on smoothly and easy makes me look like a pro!

If there is such a thing as one coat paint, this would be about as close as you could get. I don't know how it will hold up over time, but it sure covers good and goes on smoothly. It also fills cracks very well too.

I am a retired contract painter for 35 years. I have used glidden paint on most of my jobs,glidden never failed to do a great job.glidden has the best door and trim paint on the market no brush marks or runs,just a smooth finish. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm used to using a separate primer coat, then doing two coats of paint. This is my first primer and paint in one attempt. I like the quality and application of this product. I've never had full color coverage on a one coat paint product and I see some bleed through of the old color. The color I'm covering is off white grey and this product is an off white.

I got this kind of paint when we bought our house, it was suppose to be the best kind at Wal-Mart. Right away, when I'd wipe something off the paint would come off. I have a reading chair in my son's room if I rub the paint it scratches off. Would rather just repaint with a better kind of paint just don't have time to do it.

Our non-profit was preparing a volunteer day to paint the outside. We purchased Glidden Exterior Paint and sanded the aluminum siding down. When we FINALLY got to paint, I couldn't believe my eyes when this paint didn't even cover the most minor blemish! I originally thought they were joking!!! Needless to say, we wasted valuable volunteer time and now I will be purchasing ANOTHER primer and painting myself. DO NOT PURCHASE, IF YOU ACTUALLY WANT THE SURFACE COVERED!!!
