We got these for a woman who picks her hands to the bone basically and she has torn up thick winter gloves and everything else picking at them but she can't seem to get anywhere with these but they allow her to do normal tasks with them on. Only the black band around the cuff is able to come apart so highly recommend for those needing a strong glove. She also hasn't been able to pick at her body or her diaper so if that's a struggle you have with someone elderly or disabled I highly recommend them. I also tested the cut and it does work nicely for its normal use.
