GREAT
This is a well built anemometer that can tell wind speed pretty accurately. I use it to tell whether the wind speed is low enough to operate my Yuneec Q500 4k out in open country. it is a great help.

Wind speed works well
Accurate wind speed. Features are confusing with poor instructions. Temperatures read considerably higher than actual by 5 degrees f. For now does the job I bought it for .....wind speed.

Affordable
I like that it was affordable. However havent been able to use too much yet. So far so good. It does feel a little fragile, we will see how it holds up.

Small size for backpack used a few times already digital reading easy to view. One con: does not come with battery!

wind anemometer gauge meter
The low star rating is due to lack of instructions. I almost returned it because the instruction manual was useless. Saw another manufacturer for an item that looked exactly like this one. Pulled it up and found much better instructions. Now that I know how to use my GM816 I am happy with it.l
