very powerful machine

RGM February 10, 2026

if you're looking at this system you already have a good idea of what it's capable of. I'll confirm it's really powerful for AI workflow, video editing and even gaming. fan is a bit loud but if it's not sitting right next to your monitor you'll be fine. (gaming laptop level noise for reference) I'm not a huge fan of the case design but it's well put together.

Performance above what I was expecting

Paul March 6, 2026

Powerful little beastie, truly amazed at the benchmarks on it. Cinebench was better on this than our 4 year old threadripper, gpu benched between a 4070 and 4070 ti. With the price of memory on desktop systems right now, this is priced like buying the memory and getting a powerful cpu and a decent gpu and it just sips power. The camera server that this is replacing would only run for 2 hours on our ups before, estimated time on our ups now is 2 days. This minipc also uses a standard pc fan instead of proprietary cooling, making replacement a breeze (if anyone who ever worked with minipc's knows, it's usually the cooling that goes first). I do wish it came with basic peripherals.

Seems like Qwen3.5-35B-A3B is about the best LLM

Charles April 3, 2026

Using Openclaw and LM Studio 0.4.9 CPU/GPU: AMD Ryzen AI Max 395 (Strix Halo/Radeon 8060S, 40 CUs) Sweet Spot: Why Qwen3.5-35B-A3B---- MoE structure means only ~3B parameters active at any time despite 35B total. This feels like a smaller model with deep reasoning capability. Perfect balance between intelligence and speed - anything more would just take forever! Optimal LM Studio Inference Settings Core Parameters (Already Optimized) NGl (GPU Layers): 99/All ✅ Max GPU offloading Quantization: Q4_K_XL ✅ Best balance of speed/quality Context Length: 64k default, 122k for deep reasoning Batch Size: Default or slightly higher Sampling Parameters Temperature: 0.7 standard (0.3 reasoning, 1.2 creative) Top P: 0.9 (0.8 tighter, 0.95 looser) Top K: 40 (30 reasoning, 50 creative) Repeat Penalty: 1.1 standard Advanced Features Min P Sampling: 0.05 ✅ Reduces hallucination risk Speculative Decoding: On with draft model <7B ✅ Speed boost ~2x on repetitive patterns Draft Cutoff: 0.15 ✅ Balanced speed/quality Max Draft Size: 12 tokens ✅ Moderate speculation 💰 Price Analysis () Was it worth it? YES for my use case (local LLMs): Specialized capability: massive models on integrated GPU 96GB unified memory handles large contexts without swapping Not generic fast - but uniquely capable for LLM work The 128GB variant isn't worth extra cost, as CURRENTLY with (Qwen3.5-35B-A3B) you really wouldn't want to run a model more then this anyways.

REWARE OF $2,000 SCAM, DO NOT USE ONLINE WALMART

jerry April 19, 2026

Ordered the item on march 17th, in the delivery page it stated that "item is a high priced item, you must be present to receive and sign off on receiving item during delivery date". I took a day off from work just to be home to get the product on the expected day March 19th, just for them to tell me that item was delayed and will arrive Friday. Waited all day Friday 20th to receive the package and sign off on it just to get a random email that it was delivered. NO PICTURE OFF ITEM BEING DELIVERED and NO CONTACT WITH ME. Just a random email from walmart saying it was delivered. Since that day I have contacted them 5 times and spoken with 2 managers. Initially they told that they understood and I could get a replacement. Just for me to call back a few days later (because I have not gotten an email of replacement or actual item yet )and be told by Manager 1 that I couldn't get a replacement but that I could get a refund. Then on 4/18 I called again to see where my refund was and they said that there was a billing department issue that the customer representative resolved as I was on the line. On 4/19 I received an email saying my item was delivered and that my refund is not processed. Reached out to Manager 2 just for him to tell me he cant help me and that I would have to dispute it with my financial institution. Walmart kept telling me that they used a 3rd party delivery system and that on their end it says it was delivered. But again I never received the package even though it was stated in the delivery instruction that I would have to receive and sign off in person. I asked if the delivery driver took a picture of the product being delivered or if they have a signature of recipient who claimed the item and they told me they have no way of knowing. BEWARE WHEN YOU BUY THIS. I am still disputing for my $$2,056.79(go item when it was at a lower price). and walmart customer service does not help at all.
