My JAN18 Review of the 1000 MG Amino-Acid Capsules
I have been using the subject capsules for many years and am quite satisfied with them. The bottles which I received were like that in the related pictures on the website. The ordering process, however, required a telephone call because the order number had changed and because the Google-like keywords which I used in the GNC website search section did not result in any display of the new number or of the new white, instead of black, bottles.

I give it five stars because I was told by one of my sons to take it over twenty years ago. I have taken it every since, and will continue to do so! I will be 80 years old this year. That is all I have to say.

works great
They help with energy and stamina for workouts but will raise your blood pressure . I get real good workouts in when I take two capsule. But my blood pressure goes from 121/78 to 148/86. I never take over 2 a day. In the morning. So be careful if you have a high blood pressure condition.

Im trying to determine how many of these capsules to take per day. I cant do that without a breakdown of each amino content. I would like to purchase this again, but I cannot without this information.

Not Free Form Amino Acids. Misleading Label!
These are not Amino Acids. These are protein capsules. Read the ingredients. They are not free form amino acids. Your body breaks down protein using stomach acid (HCl) and Enzymes excreted from the pancreas (Protease). if you are looking for Free Form amino acids (which are readily absorbed in the gut without need of breakdown) then Do Not Buy these pills. Just like it takes effort for your body to breakdown protein, it takes money for manufacturer's to break down protein into amino acids. It's cheaper for GNC
