This has been working very well for me. I suffer from diverticulosis, which gives me cramps, and really messes up my bathroom habits. I take this along with a prebiotic, and I am doing very well. I do recommend also adding fiber. I use the powder kind.

SO FAR I HAVE BEEN TAKING THIS PRODUCT FOR ABOUT A MONTH,WAS IN HOSPITAL DUE TO DIVERTICULITUS ISSUES AND WAS TREATED WITH ALOT OF ANTIBIOTICS OVER MY STAY THERE. I’m in my late 60s and frankly have NEVER had the kinds of chronic “elimination” issues I’m having now. Sorry to have to articulate my symptoms here but maybe it will help people: I needed something that would make my bowel activity more regular, easier (no straining), and make it a better consistency (look up “poop”! It’s important!) The GNC probiotic definitely makes a difference, and right away, so I’m pleased. I tried a more expensive brand called “RenewLife” over the last several months, but this is just as good and less expensive. I also take high-potency Psyllium capsules and/or a generic Metamucil on a regular basis, but adding the probiotic has made everything way better. Hope to cut back on the psyllium caps and Metamucil but am taking it slow.
