I have 5 cats. And, they all love this item. They love the bed on it. I find them curled up in this all the time.

My cats love it! They are a little too big for the “hammock” but they make it work. They are between 15-17 lbs. Easy to assemble

My cat loves his tree! He's had it since he was a kitten! He's now 10 pounds/8months old and still uses it. The top perch is where he actually eats and he loves sleeping in his basket/hammock. He goes inside the cave once in a while. When he jumps off he does move the tree with his power so I wish it was a little bit sturdier.

My kitty is an adult, and not small. This cat tree suits her very well. She particularly likes to sit on the top perch to look out the patio door. I'd be happier if the tree were a little sturdier, but for anyone with a smaller cat, it's probably sturdy enough. I'm glad I bought it, and so is Princess. I'm not mechanically minded at all, and had no difficulty assembling this, but I did have my son tighten all the bolts. The tool supplied didn't fit two of the bolts, which required a phillips screw driver. The directions neglected to mention that.

Only one of my 2 cats uses it, even after around a year. It's less sturdy than you'd like and wiggles dramatically when she jumps on it, even though it was put together properly. Both of my cats completely ignore the hammock and the rope, which I thought were going to be the best parts. In fact, the cat who uses the tree uses the top shelf almost exclusively. It was a bit tricky to put together as well, although I generally put things together with ease. If you're not handy, you may want help.
