My new steps look great! I received my steps and all the necessary parts very quickly. I even followed the included instructions and installed the steps myself with the help of a friend to help lift while I bolted the steps to their brackets. I'm very happy with my purchase and the help I received from Real Truck customer service in helping with my selection.
The new Go Rhino side steps look really nice and are the fit and purpose I was looking for. I wanted a side step that did not drop down or extend out too far, but also provided adequate access/egress into the large Silverado 3500 HD. They are excellent quality and I am very pleased.
They look good on the truck and seem to be of good quality. Time will tell on the durability thought.
Easy to install and sharp look. 30% less than having a company install and it took 90 minutes. The only issue I'll probably run into is rust in a few years. The only thing that could make it better is if they were covered by line-x.
These were very easy to install on my 2024 Ram 5500. We do like how they look and most definitely makes entry and exit easier and safer. The only reason I did not give these a 5 star rating is actual placement of the steps front to rear. The rear most mount stops the steps from moving forward enough to being secured true center of the 4 door cab.
These running boards work very well. I was pleased with the overall fit and quality. The units have a small amount of drop when stepping on them. The hardware seems very sturdy. Attaching the brackets to the units takes a little work but nothing bad. Instructions were okay. The product looks great on the truck. I wanted ones that didn't stick out 7 inches and had a stop for your boot. These are about 5 inches out and have a bar that you boot will kick before you hit the truck. The packaging was less than expected. The running boards had rub makes all over the ends. The packaging for the attachment hardware was even worse. There were parts that the paint had completely rubbed off from. Had some left over rubberized spray paint that cleaned everything up and made it look great. Overall, pleased but packaging could be better.
These are not vehicle specific steps. The steps are a universal step, with brackets that are specific to each vehicle. You have to slide mounting brackets inside the tube of the step, and then try to hold the bracket upright inside the tube with your finger while also ligning up and starting the bolts. Way more of an annoying process than installing N-Fab steps. Overall the steps are sturdy and seem well built.
The drivers side step was delivered with a dent in it. All other aspects of the order were great. Easy ordering process, quick delivery, straightforward installation, etc. I am a bit disappointed that I started an online chat about this issue with the dent, and I was told that an agent would reach out to me. I did not hear from anyone or get an email notification. I do screen my calls, so it is possible that someone may have tried though. All in all, I would like to speak to someone about shipping a replacement.
These steps look good. They do make a bit of vibration noise due to the way the steps bolt to the tubes if you kick them. Also one of the weld nuts is not tight on one of my steps. It looks like someone cross threaded the bolt and then twisted the weld not off of the tube.
Installed on my new 2025 tundra and the bars felt like they flexed more than they should. Feels like they will either give out or bend - poor design with the universal c channel made out of low guage steel. Would not recommend for any vehicle.
