We took our Nomad 10 panel and Venture 35 power brick for 12 days in the Adirondacks on a remote canoe trip. The panel gave us enough to recharge 2 phones, a smart watch, and a headlamp, we were rarely without the charging capacity we needed (rainy days can be an issue). The Nomad 10 is now an essential on our paddling pack list, absolutely love it!
Awesome little solar panel! Took it backpacking on a 4 day trip on the PCT this Summer, definitely worth the weight to be able to charge my camera + phone batteries out there and lighter than a battery pack.
Exceeded my expectations for a small portable panel. Charged my iPhone quickly, as well as multiple batteries. Great product for extended wilderness camping.
We had a power outage in 2020 because of a Derecho. It was difficult to charge our phones to keep in touch with family. Now we can with solar GoalZero.
I will admit I was extremely skeptical after reading the 1 star reviews stating that the charger wont stand on its own without folding closed. I purchased anyway to see for myself and I will tell you that if you simply fold it gently backwards a little and for lack of a better term, brake it in, its stands perfectly on its own and does NOT fold closed. I have not tested it to see how long it takes to charge from 0% to fully charged but it did start charging immediately and with a 2A output I don't expect a long charge cycle.
I've used this to charge a Venture 35 power bank and it's a perfect match!
I like to nomad 5 but this is better with the same quality build
Simple and reliable. Glad to have a couple of these in case I need them.
Works great , very portable, One issue is the stand. Sometime didficult to place the panel so it does not fall over.
Somehow the “innards broke and it stopped charging anything after only a few uses. Since it was after warranty, Goal Zero “could not help me”. Very disappointed.
