God of War III (PS3)

This game is UNBELIEVABLE! The graphics are drop-dead GORGEOUS. The gameplay is OUTSTANDING. The story is REMARKABLE. The level designs are really CREATIVE. Parents, use caution if you're thinking about buying for anyone under 17 as the game can get pretty brutally graphic. Also, there is a particular scene that might not be appropriate for younger gamers. This game is definitely worth your time and hard earned cash. MUST BUY!!!!!! A++++++

God of War 3 picks right up from 1 and 2 but totally better. The graffics are INSANE In 1080p. The fighting is more intense, the Gods are Strong and detailed to a T! I can't express how much some should buy this game!

I didn't start playing the God Of War serieis untill just after the first and second God Of War games were released on one disk. I played the first two and thought they were amaizing. I read the Gameinformer review of the third which got a 10 out of 10 rating which never happens. I decided to rent the game and the review wasn't lying. The controlls for the game are percise, the graphics are amaizing from 720p through 1080p I would imagine that they even look fenomenal on a 480p television. It is by far the best PlayStation game released in the consol's history. No developer has ever designed a better looking more in depth game than Sony Santa Monica. I have the origional version of the PlayStation 3 and it gave my system a work out because the graphics card had to work so hard to keep up with the stunning details of the game. I highly recomend any one who enjoys fighting games or games at all to buy this game.

For anyone who is a fan of the God of War series, this is the ultimate experience. Stunning visuals, great game-play. The scale of this game is one of its greatest factors, fighting the gods of Olympus while moving around titan is a great experience from this game. A+ material and would gladly recommend this game to everyone 18 and older.

I find the game series to simply be amazing, it follows greek mythology in a way that puts players right into the story. Fighting various enemies including various gods and creatures. I am excited for the ultimate edition because of all the really cool stuff that comes in it. Including a lifesize replica of Pandora's Box that was featured in the first game in the story. The music is amazing, graphics are amazing, and it is hard to put the games down.

The first two God of War titles redefined the "hack n' slash" action genre of games by combining fluid gameplay, larger than life confrontations and beautiful cinematic landscapes. God of War III not only continues this tradition, it absolutely destroys it with contempt. Kratos returns to finish his journey of revenge in what may be the single most epic piece of entertainment I've ever had the pleasure of experiencing. It's rare to see the Playstation 3 pushed to it's limits, but God of War III took everything about the PS2's hardware capabilities and expanded them beautifully. What we're left with is a gorgeous, perfectly excecuted title that will keep you on edge from beginning to end. In short: Buy this game. Buy it for yourself, buy it for a friend or loved one. Just do NOT buy it for a child as the M rating here is fully realized. The game contains graphic violence, gore, nudity and sexuality as in previous titles.

Love the game came new not used was awesome

This is the third in the GOW series. It happens to be the first of the three for me and I love it. I'll be purchasing the other two as long as they work with the PS3. Lots of killing and fighting.

My boyfriend wanted this game when it first came out at $100.00. I waited until it was $40.00 (new) at Walmart whereas it was still selling for $50.00 (used) at other places such as Gamestop. He already has God of War I and II. I cant get him to stop playing it. It was WELL WORTH the $40.00!

"God of War 3" continues right after the ending of "God of War 2". You will play through cool boss battles and these fights are very interactive. For example if Kratos is trying to finish off a boss there will be button sequences you have to press. The sequences have been made easier from the first two games. The storyline is good and gory. Basically if you love the first two games you'll love this game.
