I have the most destructive dog ever when it comes to toys. In the past year this toy is the only one that's survived more than 20 minutes. We are on day 2 and it is still intact! I had ordered something different that was out of stock so my shopper substituted this. I am so thankful!! I would have never tried this otherwise. I will purchase again and highly recommend!
It can be a bit difficult to figure out how to fill the treat ball in a way that also makes it hard for the dog to get the treats out. I found that filling with a softer treat after it and then packing as many with mini milk-bones or other hard treats until it's difficult but still able to move the ball to the squeaker end. Shove more soft treats in if you can. It doesn't hold much. but it kept my 8 month old Aussie occupied long enough for me to take a shower
I got this cuz my mix pit breed (I have 2 ) I've noticed when I came back I see her little white paws all green and I get worry cuz I gotta go to work and I can't my pups digging a hole and getting out (it has happened and I do live in front of a street) I have to my dogs yesterday before bed because sometimes they get too riled up and they chewed themselves tired with this. My dogs are about 50-100 lb and they can easily take the ball off and access the treats
This is a fun toy until they figure out how to use it and then it's very easy but it's definitely durable It can be a little difficult getting the treats in there
My dog a three-year-old English bulldog loves the toy, but the squeaker came apart within the first two days of use. I took all of the loose parts so she didn't swallow any. She's still able to use the treat ball and main part for play but unfortunately not with a squeaker as intended. The company says they guarantee 30 days of rough play or they'll send a replacement so we'll see if they hold true to their word.
thought it would be a good tou for my dog only to find out she chewed it and swallowed pieces! next day she kept vomiting pieces up,thank God. never again
Within ten minutes my dog bit the squeaker off the one end. He figured out the “puzzle” right away. I took ball off and spread peanut butter and coconut oil inside and replaced the ball into the toy. There is absolutely no way to out even the smallest treats inside the ball that slides on the toy. It won't slide if you cram treats inside and treats would get stuck. That's why I opted for peanut butter. This really is NOT a puzzle and not safe for dogs who chew a lot or aggressive chewers. It's been a long time since my dog chewed through a toy but it only took 5 minutes to break a this one. Squeaker should be one solid piece not a little nub badly glued into the toy.
it lasted 2 days it doesn't work as a puzzle treat because the ball comes off easily. I would have gotten more satisfaction if it would have lasted more than 2 days but that's ridiculous it's like i threw money away.
My 1 year old lab mix had it chewed in half in the first 20 minutes she had it. I would not say this toy is for aggressive chewers she got to have the ball only after the other part went in the trash.
My dog really enjoyed the toy but had the squeaker out within minutes. With the squeaker out he was able to start tearing the whole toy apart. Was in the garbage can after 10 minutes.
