I seriously did not know how big this thing was until it arrived! The box it came in was so big and I thought, oh this is one of those big boxes that holds such a small item, but NO this thing was that big! I will be giving this to my son as a Christmas gift because he loves Godzilla and the movies! It looks well made and looks just like Godzilla!!
This is a really good size Godzilla action figure, when you attach the tail he is actually quite large. My kids have been playing with him for the last couple of days and having fun! The toy does not make any noises and it does not light up which makes me happy and the tail, arms and legs are moveable. Very nice toy!
This XL Godzilla toy is very sturdy, no small pieces and parts. The tail is detached to fit in the box, when attached it fits well so no worries if it falling off. The arms and legs are move able which my grandson loves. I would recommend it for any boy or girl that likes dinosaurs.
This 11” Giant Godzilla figure from the upcoming Godzilla vs. Kong is an awesome figure to add to any collection. My son collects Godzilla figures and he is very excited for this one. He likes the size of it, it's larger than other figures. It's well made of thick plastic and not cheap material. There are several points of articulation- both hands, legs, hands, feet and tail move so that you can put this Godzilla figure into action. It seems to be very well made if you're going to be playing with it I don't see the worry of it breaking very easy, with the exception of the hands. They are a little wobbly like when moving them around so I would be careful with them. The colors are cool. The spikes are cool too. The blue spikes and greyish body makes it a pretty decent representation of Godzilla. The only weird things is on one side of the figure you can see all the screws and screw holes. Whether you play with the figures or collect them like my son does this is a great addition to any collection. It can create hours or fun or add flare to your collectors shelf.
A long awaited movie and a great toy for kids to re-enact some of the scenes. This toy seems very durable. The arms, legs and hands all move. Tail can turn as well. The color is a little light for Monsterverse Godzilla accuracy but it adds a nice effect and will contrast the Kong figure nicely if you get that too. The screw holes are very visible on one side which is the main negative but as a kids toy, they probably won't care all that much. Its a decent sized toy at 11" in height so this monster won't get lost very easily around the house. The dorsal plates/spikes on Godzilla's back are made of a flexible rubber type plastic for safety. Comes in a very nice box too with a great battle scene on the box.
My 9 yr old son loves Godzilla so I jumped at the chance to order this. He was so excited to open up the box. His review is that he thinks the color is really cool! He is kind of a gun metal/bluish gray color and his plates are a light blue which reminded him of electricity. The figure is a good size at 11" to wreak havoc over his collection of Lego men. The arms and legs move and the tail spins. Material quality is sturdy plastic and held together with screws, not just snapped together. It seems like it will hold up to years of play. He definitely recommends it to other kids.
For an 11 inch $20 figure it's not bad the detail could be better but if you're getting it for a kid that's not really going to matter. It's durable and the overall construction is good and I don't feel like I could injure myself with it unless I was directly hit with it.
Great figure, seems durable. i am collector and wont be playing with it. though, i do recommend for children! (once it's ACTUALLY out) glad to get it early, look foward to GvK!
so we chose this for our 5 year old son. He seems to be okay with it. Gorilla is heavy and seems to be made with a good type of rubber material. One thing our 5 year asked about was sound. He asked why didn't Godzilla make any sounds. I told him this was the perfect time to make whatever sound he believes Godzilla has or should have.
The toy itself was ok....but it was advertised as brand new, but it was shipped to me OUT of any packaging.... like it was actually used. I tried to get an explanation from the seller but have so far been unsuccessful. So, this was false advertising in my opinion. A brand new toy is supposed to come in packaging like the pictures advertised. This was supposed to be given as a Christmas gift. Another thing, I think it was way over priced.
