Godzilla Minus One (Blu-ray)

Very good movie! I watched it when it first came out. Now I'm buying this as a gift for someone. If you like Godzilla, you should definitely see this one

This movie is the best Godzilla movie that I have seen. It is so artistically made. Beautiful acting and cinematography. It also won the academy award for best visual effects. A true classic and I can't wait for the sequel.

I think this is the best Godzilla movie since the first one. Unfortunately this is not the release that includes the black%26white version of the film, but I doubt I would have watched that more than a couple times anyway (%26 to get that release would have been more expensive).

Good movie but its a little bit different when it comes to the languages. Basically at the start it ask what language that is for subtitles only. Like if you choose say English the Japanese parts will have English subtitles. But the short English language parts will have subtitles in Japanese. But in both cases the Japanese an Americans speak their own language in the movie. But the subtitles change but I have no idea what happens if you choose another language.

Fantastic movie. A must have for any Godzilla fan. Excellent special effects and good storyline. Reminds you of the old Godzilla movies but more up to date. My whole family really loved it.

This movie is the exact pinnacle of what a Solo classic Godzilla movie should be… but it was more than that through amazing character development. In my opinion the movie itself scores a nine out of 10 or maybe even a 10 watch it.

It's very good, nice easy and simple. To this selection one disc is the movie second disc is the special features, which is mainly behind the scenes stuff. Highly recommend it good quality and all.

A must-see for all Godzilla fans! Starting point for new fans! Reboot / Remake of the original 1954 Godzilla. Digital Godzilla (like Shin Godzilla), not a rubber costume as in the past (my all-time favorites). Great human drama! Finally, a kaiju film has an engaging story involving the human characters! Oscar winner!! It's Godzilla, need I say more!?

This was the most unexpected movie of the year. The CGI was excellent but what made this stand out above the rest of the genre is a context and human story that works as well as the monster mayhem. The story is simple and appealing. You end up believing and caring for the main characters that are caught up in the mass destruction from a monster standing in for wartime devastation. Placing the story in post WW2 times is brilliant to allow us to understand the emotions of hopelessness that individuals can overcome. The balance of the human story with the creature destruction is perfect. This is much better than the heartless other overhyped versions in the past few years. The Japanese producers have created a world we care about again and reinforced the earlier concepts of man ruining the environment by the everyday monsters we create. The actors deserved awards and I am happy the special effects got recognized.

You want the Blu-ray, don't even think about streaming this movie. Lots of extras, the English dubbing is superb. Best movie I've seen in 10 years. It's a period piece, it's a love story, an anti-war movie, personal conflicts in high stress environments. Don't worry, there's PLENTY of Godzilla squishing things, and being a major nuisance. A terrific film on every level. Whether you're a Godzilla fan or not, you WILL like this movie. 100% non-Woke.
