Godzilla: The Showa-Era Films, 1954-1975 (Criterion Collection)

What a wonderful collection of the Original Godzilla, Yes, some are serious, and a lot are hokey, but that is the fun of watching the movies. These are Criterion made. so they rescanned the prints. These are crisp picture and sound. The only thing, most of them do not have the English dubs, but I have found the movies subtitled are better than I remember with the English dubs

It's really nice havig all the Showa era Godzilla films in one place. Criterion always put out the best products. You know the picture and sound will be top quality. I liked how big the packaging was too, I was expecting something much smaller. It's nice to see the king of monsters get the treatment these movies deserve.

Some of the movies I have not seen in a long time. I have started one disk a day and have enjoyed each one so far. I grew up with these movies.

This set is high quality packaging and a complete set of the original movies. Mine arrived in excellent condition and on a cost per movie basis is an excellent value.

The original Godzilla collection is a must for any Godzilla fan. This collection is impressive and comes in a nice book with great quality paper and artwork. You can never go wrong with Criterion

The product arrived in a timely fashion and for a good price! I have a son whose just getting into Godzilla movies and having a whole hit collection of them to keep him busy will be fantastic.

Nice collection, 15 movies, with plenty of extras. Good for Godzilla fans. Movies are subtitled some are dubbed. The boxset they come is very nice but large, I got a CD keeper to put the discs in and put the boxset on the bookshelf.

The packaging is the only issue. It wasn't in a box or anything. A piece of cardboard was taped around the box. When I picked it up it fell right out of the packaging. Which caused the book to have a dent now.
