I had been in need of a cover for my rain barrel for quite some time. And I came across these really nice net coverings with the draw string to keep it tight so the mosquitoes won't get into the water. I actually live in a house now that does not have downspouts so I lined it up with the edge of the roof so when we have rain it feels the barrel to be used later. It is definitely keeping the bugs out I just wiped off a lot of little white flies from the top of the netting which is a very good sign. So much easier to buy it already made them to try and buy The netting or screen as well as bungee cords to keep it on it ends up being more expensive that way. Really good price I bought the pack of two to keep one on hand. Where I live we definitely need all the help to keep the mosquitoes out of water barrels, sitting water anywhere, Etc.

Screens are a generous size and fit nicely over my rain barrels. There's been no rain yet to test how well they stay on in a downpour or in a windy storm, but I think they will work out well to keep the water clean and free of mosquitoes and roof debris.

It was inexpensive and easy to apply to the can. So far, it's held up with some pretty heavy rains, and it keeps the water collected free from debris. It looks just like the picture and the mesh is fine enough to keep unwanted things out. The drawstring is kinda long, so I had to tie it up to keep it from dragging on the ground. This is a very minor observation. I was skeptical at first, but I'm pleased.

These net covers do the job easily even with rain chains instead of downspouts. lift them partially aside, dip your bucket or watering can and gently water enjoying your garden.

I use utility tubs to collect water. These helped mosquitos from breeding in there. Seems like it will last several years

They did their job! We got an inch of rain and they allowed the buckets to fill up and kept the leaves out! My plants and my sanity are happy!

Great buy. Economical way to use a bucket to catch rainwater . Keeps the pesky mosquitoes out and fre water for the gardens.
