The leather is more like plastic and the cord is not long enough.

was a dark brown color rather than black. lanyard was too short for my needs. there was no flap to cover up the credit card so they kept falling out unexpectedly. if you're going to place credit card or driver's license in your lanyard make sure you get one with a flap with snap that folds over the cards. then again it was very inexpensive. I have since ordered one that costs three times as much that will meet my needs better. I've given this item to a friend that will not be using it to hold credit cards
