I am about six feet tall and weigh about 180 pounds. I am almost 50 years old. This futon mattress fits my needs very well. It is thick enough to provide cushioning to sleep through the night, but light enough to convey the firmness of the underlying surface and be lifted and carried easily. It is also of such a composition of natural fibers that it breathes well and does not produce unnatural gases. It does have some kind of slightly unnatural smell that is faint and has not bothered me. It mostly smells like hay and cotton, but not strongly. I am very pleased with this product because of its naturalness, weight, and cushioning.
Great natural mattress at a great price
Quality as top notch, smells awesome, but you should understands it is pretty heavy and you will need to rotate it regularly.
It's a great and comfy futon mattress... for a FUTON! Don't think you can get away with saving money by putting this on a regular bed frame. It just does not work. But that's completely my fault, and it still gets 5 stars - just make sure you buy it for a futon. I love that it's all cotton, made in the USA, super comfortable to lay on, but it's too small for a bed frame. I bought the queen size and it was all around too small for a queen bed frame.
Great price for all natural product. Fast shipping, free delivery. Will buy again
not easy to find 100% cotton at a decent price. Others at the price advertise 100% but it turns out to be the cover only, with the interior something else. Relatively easy to move around. I put a rush-woven tatami mat underneath so it's not driectly on wood and put a fitted cotton mattress cover on to protect it
Treated with boric acid, smell is natural, good not to strong, pretty decent, thanks
After just a month of using it as a floor sleeping mattress, the cotton stuffing migrated so much away from the heavy areas of my body (from shoulders to hips) towards where my head, arms, and lower legs would be that my body was no longer getting the support it needs. I am only 5'4" and 120lbs. The mattress is too heavy for me alone to lift the mattress and "beat" the cotton filling back into place. Even with help, it is very hard to get the filling to move back into even distribution. Pretty disappointing considering the price tag. I wanted an all natural mattress without the high price tag... I wish I had saved the $200 to put towards a more durable natural mattress.
it was little soft for me. mattress is fine but i was looking for a little harder one
it smells it comes in ripped olastic its dirty its lumpy and it had spiders the cotton is falling out im done buy mattresses from walmart they are all trash
