Gold Star Chili Original Chili, 15 oz metal can

Although it is a bit pricey but because I have to have it and there's not one close by it give me my fix

Reminds me of being back home in Cincinnati, Ohio

we always have a can in the pantry, box of noodles and crackers. quick and easy

highly recommend I will buy again

I purchased this chili for a family member who lives in an area that has no restaurant for Coneys/3way chili. He was ecstatic about receiving it and stated that it tastes just like the chili that the restaurant served. Delivery was speedy and arrived on schedule.

This is the bigger can and it's cheaper than the smaller can. Everywhere else charges more except Walmart

Being a Cinti local, I have a slight preference for Gold Star over Skyline when it comes to the big chains when back home. Have both available for purchase off the shelves out of town. The cans of Gold Star did not come close to matching the quality of an in-store purchase. (Curiously, the Skyline off the shelf tasted about the same as in store). Not sure why there is a difference but I would not necessarily recommend the canned Gold Star if you are looking as a substitute for its outstanding in-restaurant quality.

This was not as good as I thought I had heard. Its very similar to other Cincinnati Chili . I like that it does not have beans but the consistency is thin and it should be thicker but not real thick like flour added to it. The taste is their just need more of it.

DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM AS IT IS SPOILED. Each can that we opened POPPED loudly and the ingredients were NOT GOOD. Wish we could get our money back. So glad that we did not consume it and hope no one else does.
