Gold Tone #2 Permanent Cone Coffee Filter, Brown

The Gold Tone Filter works great. Better than paper filters that filters which filter better but also filters out more coffee flavor and water. I get a stronger flavor and a little more coffee into the pot. ; )

I like that this makes brewing a cup of coffee very quick, with fast and easy clean up. I would recommend this over the paper filters, the paper filters don't allow any sediment into your cup. It's a matter of personal preference.

Fits my beloved vintage Genalia Coffee maker. I had a very hard time finding a replacement for my 30 year old filter.

Wonderful filter! I don't have to buy paper ones anymore!

Easy shopping

I use this filter in a Zojirushi Zutto 5 cup coffee maker. Though the top cover of the filter chamber doesn't fit perfectly over this filter, it still works great and filters the coffee as a paper filter would (albeit with a little tiny bit of sediment, typical of all permanent filters). It's easy to clean, too.

Filter was well constructed, however, it was too "deep" for my model of 4 cup coffee maker and did not fit properly. There are 1/4" ridges on the bottom of the filter that prevented the filter from sitting properly in my coffee maker. So, rather than return the filter, I carefully filed off the ridges and now the filter fits perfectly. Worth the cost and spared me the inconvenience of returning it.

It does the job, but a small amount of powdery grit passes through and sinks to the bottom. If you don't mind a gritty last gulp, then have at it!

I LIKE having a reusable %232 filter since Walmart doesn't seem to care about or bother keeping their PAPER %232 filters on the shelves. They haven't been on the shelf in Airway Heights for at least TWO MONTHS. What I DON'T like about this filter is it leaves a LOT of fine sediment in the cup.

Product looks great but does not work as well as paper filters. The water pours through too quickly and an enormous amount of coffee grinds end up in the cup. The cup of coffee is more like sludge. I'll be going back to paper filters for my pour over cup of coffee.
