Golden Acrylic Medium - Matte, 8 oz jar

I find this medium to be the best I've used so far. Jerry's has the best price for this product and I've researched every art forum I could find. Highly recommend Jerry's!!!

Easy to be use

Before I tried this product, I had purchased a bottle of the Golden Gloss Medium. I loved the way the gloss protected and finished the surfaces of my paper mache sculptures, but sometimes I wanted a matte finish that would reflect light differently. Now that I have both, I find that I am using the matte medium even more than than gloss: it allows me to create a consistent surface on pieces that use several different media, and it is even good for fixing lines drawn with charcoal and pastel chalk. (Note: I'm still experimenting to find the best way to do this. It doesn't always go the way I had planned--but I see potential here!) Overall impression: I keep reaching for my bottle of Golden Matte Medium, and I keep finding new ways to use it. Very handy stuff!

I use this medium primarily for adhering collage papers to my canvas. Also, if you use tape to make designs, painting the edges of the tape with this product assures that no paint will bleed where you don't want it. It dries clear and does not affect any paint already laid down.

Love this stuff for controlled glazing, for thinning paint, and for mixing with other media such as water and acrylic flow release to get the exact consistency I want. It also extends the body of the acrylic, so I get much more volume out of a tube than it actually has.
