Golden Fluid Acrylics CMY Primaries + White combined to make a good, balanced chromatic neutral. I brushed a 4'X5' field on double-primed linen canvas with the exact variance in value that I wanted across the surface. The paint is creamy, homogeneous and brushable (I add Matt Medium). The paint dried evenly, opaque and within a day it was ready for my next layer.
Love the golden fluid acrylics. They can be hard to find in many local art stores. Jerry's had all the colors I wanted.
I teach woodworking. I use this color for students to paint their wood boxes. It's a very popular color with students. It has great coverage.
Golden paints for the win! Always reliable and consistent. Love to mix it with other colors too! Keep it on your palette!
Most of my paints are heavy body, but having the white in fluid acrylic works so well for mixing
There are uses where pure white isn't quite what is wanted, and I've started to use Titanium white, aka unbleached titanium, in place of white in some cases. It's pretty opaque, like titanium white, but the warm tone is sometimes advantageous. So far, I haven't found it alters the colors mixed with it, as might happen if I just added a bit of color to white to try to get the same effect. Oddly enough, it also matches the wall color in our house perfectly, so I use it to touch up little marks!
only need one coat coverage instead of three or four needed with another brand
Creates beautiful results on my botanical prints.
only one layer needed, paint has very good even coverage
Great color
