GOLDTOE Edition Mens Dress Rib Crew Socks, 3-Pack

I am a tall woman with long feet. These men's socks are long enough so they don't bind my toes, a nice medium weight to wear year around and are not too tight on my ankles. The color is a nice, a dark navy blue %26 they look great with my dark blue jeans. They shrink a bit when washed but still fit well. Women's socks say they fit up to shoe size 10, but after washing, they fit shoe size 8. I wear a woman's size 10.5 Narrow shoe so I gave up buying women's socks 30 years ago. I'm afraid Walmart will stop carrying these socks so I ordered 6 extra pairs to save for future.

The socks are very tight around the top. My husbands legs are very thin but the socks cord his legs. But they are good quality socks. Wish they made the old gold toe socks again.

They are available in both navy and black. Are comfortable socks. Tip: pull out about a half inch extra on the toes when putting on shoe-they can wear thru the toes fairly easy. I've had to stitch a few up until I learned this trick. Are very soft.

These were very nice socks; however not exactly what my husband wanted. They were too long/tall for his taste.

These sock are very thin. If you like a "no-sock" feel, you will like these. For warmer months, they are probably great. The issue I have is with quality of construction. These socks had holes at the heel where it meets the instep. I think it is a construction issue with the socks, maybe it is supposed to be that way because it doesn't look like the hole is going to run. Short-term, I don't think it is a problem, but long-term, you have a weak spot that could become a larger hole. I am very hard on socks and wear through the heels quickly so these thin heels with a hole already there is a deal breaker. I wish there was a way in the store to check them but the packaging prohibits that. The L is a good fit for a size 12 1/2 foot with room for the toes, but for me they are too thin and the construction with the hole is not working for me.

The socks came in good time and great condition. However, I did not expect the GOLDTOE brand to be of such a thin feeling material, and they were tight to the fit. Not like i am used to. I expected a lot more from the GOLDTOE brand of socks, in the past they were great. The softness feel is almost gone, the toe area is thin and they are a little tight on the feet.

These are dress socks thus they are thinner than what was looking for. The sport socks I was seeking are made by Chaps. They are thicker and the elastic is very good.

The Walmart associate that picked out the items I ordered chose to pick out what was left. I ordered three (3) packs of the GOLDTOE socks with the grey trim on top and received one (1) pack and the other two (2) packs were different with different designs on them. I will not be ordering from Walmart again; you have to actually shop in person to get what you actually want. To me that's the Walmart associates disrespecting the shopper. This is second time in a row I've had a problem ordering online with Walmart. Next time I'm going into the store or order from somewhere else if available somewhere else.

I usually have high rating on the goldtoe socks but these are not lasting. Will order from elsewhere to see how they wear. Holes shortly. Older socks are still good.

Heel of one pair holed by November, others looking pretty bas as well. I have worn them infrequently so there is no justification for them being worn out after a little over 2 months.
